Right, a few things since the last new update….. Sadly Russell has decided to leave the band, other commitments and all that kinda stuff, but we now have a new drummer, Jim, and it's all working out pretty well at the moment, even if he is smaller.
We have a seven inch coming out real soon now, its going to be a joint effort from three labels Kunal at super fi (www.superfirecords,co.uk), jamie from zombie 138 ( http://www.zombie138.co.uk) and the lovely jon from running riot (www.runningritorecords.co.uk). Its gonna have two tracks on and should be available for the summer tours, more on them soon.

Hi, it's been a while since the last update and there's a few things that have been going on lately. First of all we have a new release out! It is a split cd that was released 2 weeks ago on crackpot diy records in turkey, it's a four way split with the following music makers on - pure love violence - planes mistaken for stars - in between - since yesterday and our lovely selves too. We haven't actually got any copies of it yet, for some reason they haven't arrived but we will do soon and we'll be selling em dead cheap. This has been in the pipe line for over a year now and none of us can actually remember what songs we chose to put on it but I'm pretty sure it's some stuff off Low Art.
As for the new EP, it's coming on really well, the recording is in it's finally stages, our good friend Mr. Fillipe Gomes is doing a grand job of tidying up our mess and it should all be finished sometime, maybe soon'ish but could take a bit longer, or maybe not.
There's some gigs coming up over the next month or so, you can find out the where, when, how and whom on the helpfully named "gigs" page.
I'm hoping soon that we might be able to make some sort of on-line store or mail order thingy and we'll put up everything we've recorded so you can exchange your well earnt money for our nice and shiney cds.
I have written to much but i hope you liked it.

we are starting recording this Thursday!! 5 tracks of sonics we are gonna take a few weeks over it and the lovely Phil G, lead singer of the amazing IZA will be the recording man, these new songs are quiet a bit different from Low Art and alot better me/we thinks, we definatly have finally found what we sound like and the future is joyust.
Candy Sniper next play at the Tap 'n Tin in Chatham on the 18th of September with Army Of Juan and Up C Down C come along cause its gonna be chaos and filth.
I've joined our local Riot girrrrrrrrl band Kim Wildes Favourite Hat as a drummer, I've never been a drummer before in a band and cant actually drum so it should be great ( www.freewebs.com/kimwildesfavouritehat ).
Russell's been in Nam all week fighting his way to glory on the Xbox.
Ollie's been working far too much and also went to Cornwall last week.
Rob's been practicing ju'kwaan'do with his children and hasn't been seen in far to long.......

Played with up c down c (www.upcdownc.com) last week at the tap n tin, they now have a big ol' black stage from which to rock with lots of lil lights and shiny's, was a great gig. UP C were gargantuan, stronger than robots and as delicate as a butterfly, i caught it all on my camcorder but left it there i am silly. Our set went well the sound was loud and the crowd were cool as always we played all new songs except  3-4 moderate swing. we danced around guzzled guzzled and flerted with each other, stole fags, met people, walked around a bit it was all lipstick and prostitutes and her air was everywhere dense clouds of plastics, arse cheeks escaping through the fish nets, put it away love the old man said, he did, was rude but how i chuckled to myself pretending i had smoke in my eye.........captin tin tap n tin Chatham.

NEXT NOISE ADVENTURE-------2nd OCTOBER @ LIDO, MARGATE, KENT MAY HAVE A GIG AT THE TAP N TIN, CHATHAM, MEDWAY AGAIN ON 24th SEPTEMBER YAR YAR..YAR DE YAR WHAT WHAT.

Quite a bit has been going on of late with the sniper, first off we played a gig last night at the Lido in Margate with Kim Wildes Favourite Hat (featuring the lovely Merril), Army of Juan and our good friends Up c Down c from Chatham….everything pretty went well, the new songs have now fitted themselves neatly into the set and there was music, balloons and lolly pops to be enjoyed by all. Secondly we are just weeks away from starting to record our next EP, it’s going to be released as a joint effort by and on two labels , Engineer Records and the new label that is Left Turn 4 Records, there is no release set as of yet.
We have some more gigs, so check out the rest of the site for some things.

Candy Sniper played the Echo’s bar last night…. nice place but a little weird and it took me a while to realize that I was not in fact in a 70’s strip club but in Margate’s new venue. After I’d got over my confusion it turned out to be a pretty good, the new songs are sounding good and are becoming more comfortable to play live, Charlottefield rocked without any shoes and much fun was had by all. Please check out the media page coz there are 4 previously unreleased tracks up on there now for you to download, these were recorded many moons ago before ‘Low Art’ was made. That’s all for now.

Well this weekend just passed Candy sniper played a charity festival in Chatham….early in the morning, all feeling a little delicate from the night before, people got themselves on trains, squeezed between amps, guitars and speakers in cars and made their way the Chatham. The set went pretty well, despite the weird sound of playing outdoors and everyone clapped politely in the right places so we were happy, more importantly lots of money was raised for the good cause of the day. Thanks to everyone that came along, especially all the people who travelled up from Margate to watch us….Next show is this coming Saturday (10th of July) at the Echoes Bar in Margate with Charlottefield, should be a good one me thinks.
See ya soon.

Well, I hope you all like the new site, sorry it’s taken so long but there were problems with the old site and it took much, much longer than it should have done to finally get done, much thanks to Jason for the new design. Anyways some news about the band; we’ve been writing loads of new material, scrapping songs, writing new ones, recording them, scrapping the recordings, etc. Now I think we’ve got to a stage where we are happy with the songs and will shortly be recording them so they can be released, there’s going to be two labels involved in the next release but I’ll let you know more about that soon when it’s all sorted out for sure. In the mean time check out the rest of the site for upcoming gigs, some new sounds and photos.

“There’s nothing like building up a bit of suspense and taking your audience by surprise. Snapping your ears into submission is exactly what this four-piece have in mind, with opener ‘kill melody’ lulling you into a false sense of serenity before the heavens come crashing in a fugazi’s-younger-asylum-bound-brother-type of way! Sickly sweet these boys are not. In fact they shoot that down with a virile injection of ‘Resist youth’ loaded with acute guitars that rock in an Icarus Line-playing-Kids Near Water-covers clap-rock way. The cool collision of pseudo vintage sonics crossed with dementia continues with ‘The remember gene’, a riot of feral vocals and snapping rhythms and the seizure of ‘Connection at a party’. There’s more madness where that come from too. More unpredictable than applying make-up in a pitch-dark cellar, Candy Sniper are here to make you rock." 7/10, Ronnie Kershwell, Rock Sound Magazine.
